Pitch Competition

A step-by-step guide to submitting your startup application, from creating your account to clicking submit

Your VentureProfile is built once and reused across every competition you apply to

STEP 1

Create Your Founder Account

New to Pro-Forma? Start by creating a Founder account

When prompted to select your account type, choose Startup Founder. This gives you access to VentureProfile, Pitch Competitions, and Financial Tools

Already have an account? Sign in and Jump straight to Step 2

STEP 2

Find a Competition to Apply

After signing in, you’ll land on your Profile Dashboard

Navigate to the Pitch Competitions tab in the left sidebar to browse all available competitions

You can either:

Select a featured competition from your recommended list
Search for a specific competition by name

Click any competition to view its full details

STEP 3

Review Requirements & Click Apply

1. Review the competition details to confirm your startup is a good fit

2. Check the eligible business models, deadline, and any specific requirements listed on the competition page

Once you’re ready, click “Apply to Pitch Competition” to begin your application

STEP 4

Select or Create Your Profile

If you already have a startup profile, select it to proceed. Otherwise, create a new profile to get started

STEP 5

Complete All Required Sections

Complete all sections marked “Required” Click “Application Status” at any time to track your progress and see what’s left

Tip: If you have multiple profiles, confirm you’re editing the correct VentureProfile before submitting

STEP 6

Submit Your Application

Once everything is complete:

1. The “Submit Profile” button will be enabled

2. Click to submit your application

Tip: You can edit and resubmit your application while the competition remains open
